No Rest For The Wicked

 Lots of running around today.
After chores I went down to the Verizon store for a little help with my iPhone (that I have hardly touched), got back to the farm for a quick shower...then we went over to Apple Creek Farm for a quick visit with Jack.
Louise's flowers were next to the walk....reminding us of her.
After that we picked up Judy and Sally and headed out to Carlton for lunch.
A few years ago (when it was called the Carlton Inn) large groups of us would gather there almost once a month.  It has now changed hands and is called Ho-Jack's.

As you have probably noticed, Gary, Judy, Sally and I enjoy each others company and we try to get together for meals regularly.  Judy and I love to cook....Sally likes to treat us to lunch.  Always a pleasure!  Thanks Sally.  This was a good choice.

Did you know that this was national hamburger (or was it cheeseburger) day.
 $1.00 off any hamburgers ordered.

You can order their specialties or invent you own picking 3 toppings.  Sally chose onions, peppers and caramelized onions.  They gave her enough sweet potato fries for 4!
I did not get the one I ordered, but was 1000% happy with this one.  Topped with caramelized onions and hickory BBQ sauce...a side of coleslaw.
Judy had another kind of onion on hers with mushrooms and cheese.
Gary was the oddball and ordered a hot turkey sandwich.
Were we piggies or what?  Hands down, the best burger I've ever eaten.

Gary drove home a different way...it's about 20 miles from Brockport.
When we got to the Watt Fruit Farm he wanted to stop and treat us to ice cream cones.  The owner is on a board with him and he wanted to make sure we met her.  Quite an operation
I'll bet the are super busy on hot summer days.
I did not have it in me to get a serious cone.
This train is in the side yard...kids must love it.

Got home in time to get in my car and drive back down to the Town Hall for a committee meeting regarding the Senior Center.  The Town Supervisor stopped in for the last half hour and he plans to attend our open meeting next Wednesday night.  That is good! We are looking for a big crowd.

Home after 5.  Chores done by 7.
By mid morning it had started to rain...but tonight it was beautious.

Karen soaked and wrapped Angel again...poor girl.

Dinner was a piece of cake minus the cake.
Made goulash out of the leftover sauce and had a nice salad.  No biggie after going out to lunch.
Tomorrow thecrazysheeplady and Saint Tim are going to arrive.  They are bring along there sweet Corgi.  Can't wait to see them.
Night all.
